- The Cardinal is based on a Rockwell chip set I'm pretty sure. The code
- for the datapump is masked on the dsp chip, and cannot be changes without
- replacing the chip (which is soldered onto the modem board). So an upgrade
- would be a factory affair, and probably more expensive than you would
- want to pay if they were to offer it.
